Weekend Sunshine

The sun is shining and its time for Debz to get a tan!! I really hope the sun will hold out all week whilst i am on leave... please please please...
I packed my foot in ice for most of the morning to get some of the swelling down, and then tried on a trainer, and hey - I felt like Cinderella, the shoe fitted. So I jumped in my car - for the first time in 2 months and went off to visit a few friends, before returning to have lunch on my balcony and chat to Claire to make arrangements for the evening.
Owen and his wife Ceri picked me up and drove off to sunny Claires house for a chat, drink and lovely chinese meal, but unfortunatly Michael and Nicky didnt join us. We didnt have a phone number for Mike, so I tried searching him out on 118118 .com and look on the electoral register. I did find him and his wife registered but it didnt give me his street name or telephone number, so even though i would make a good detective, i was unable to contact Mike to join us for our evening, and Nicky was off seeing something in the movies with his girlfriend - i think!
We had a really good night and staff bonding is highly recommended - so more social events please.
On Sunday Julie from the cafe called in for a cuppa and then invited me to go for a strole down Clyne Gardens with her and her Mum, which I did. I have a lovely picture of a face carved out in a tree but i cant seem to get my computer to recognise my mobile phone anymore and i am having problems getting the pictures for you all to see. But it was a boiling hot day, and we walked around admiring the views and watched a squirrel dangle off a washing line.... really funny. That was finished off with an ice cold cola from the Woodman pub....lush!
Today is the first day of my holiday and i am being really lazy - catching up on a few tedious jobs and playing games online, whilst catching up witht the office goss from lisa!!
