YIPPEE I'm 40!!!!! :)

Well the day has come that life begins!! Last night I went for a lovely meal at Zaika in St Helens Road and it was fab.. but i havent laughed so much in a long time, i nearly wet myself i laughed so much, when my skeeming daughter came in with a birthday cake that everyone in work had organised. Turns out Julie had been down my house on her day off with my daughter wading through my thousands of photos to find one to put on my cake, I couldnt believe what they had done, no one has ever done this for me before. And then when i got home my house was plastered in banners and balloons saying midlife crisis 40 today!!! My mate Mandy had plotted that one with my daughter too.

I have had some lovely presents so far - a gold locket, a top, shoes, 2 cherrished teddies, gold earrings, 2 bottles of vodka, 2 bottles of wine (what are they trying to say), money, a 40 keyring, a decorative pillow, a 40 teddy, a 40 wine glass, my cake, a 1967 history DVD, a 'grow your own boyfriend', a joke book for 40 yr olds and a carpenters CD - so far!!!

Ive also been woken up at 4 am to be wished happy birthday from my mate Mandy, and spoken to my boy who is in Glasgow and he sang me happy birthday down the phone, and had a cooked breakfast made for me by Mandy - what else can i say - but no doubt the day can only get better!! (Be good if i can get an email or something from my Mum in Peru too - we have to wait and see)

And the plan tonight is there is rather a lot of us hitting Wind Street - i wonder if i will stay sober??????
